Therapy for Professionals

Therapy for professionals provides women who are invested in their careers a space where they can explore what brings balance and purpose to their lives. Women who are engaged in their careers often find that living up to expectations of their performance leaves them stressed, overwhelmed, and exhausted. As we work together in therapy we will explore what it look like to have work/life balance that supports your mental health. We’ll define your personal goals and values so that you ceel more confident in your abilities and reconnect with what matters most to you!

Engaging in your career doesn’t mean that you have to sacrifice your own mental health and wellbeing. You deserve to feel comfortable and confident in the life you’ve built for yourself.

Why do working professionals seek therapy?

Women who are investing in their careers often find that it is difficult to balance the expectations of their work environment while maintaining social connections, responsibilities, hobbies, and routines that are important to them. They face unrealistic pressures to “do it all” that often lead to feelings of burnout and exhaustion. Overtime the pressures and expectations faced by working professionals can begin to impact their mental health, relationships, and desires to continue forward on their career path.

Topics Often Explore in Therapy for Professionals Include:

  • Creating a routine that supports your physical and emotional health while you work towards your professional goals
  • Navigating feelings of burnout and low motivation so that you can regain feelings of passion and curiosity again
  • Developing skills that allow you to feel more confident making decisions and defining realistic expectations of yourself
  • Exploring ways that your role as a professional has impacted your role as a partner or mother
  • Developing (and maintaining!) social or romantic relationships while balancing a busy schedule
  • Clarifying the passions and goals you want to invest your energy in as you plan for your future
  • Making time for intimacy and connection despite your demanding schedule
  • Identifying ways that your career trajectory may be impacted by whether or not you want to become a parent
