JESSICA BYRD, LCSW

Jessica (she/her) provides trauma-informed support to women experiencing  anxiety, stress, burnout, self-esteem, body image, and imposter syndrome. Her primary treatment modalities include Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness, Self-Compassion, and EMDR. Her hope for each client she works with is that they can begin to explore their symptoms with a sense of compassion, and in doing so begin to understand their own stories from a place of strength and empowerment.

DANIELLE MAFFETONE, LPC

Danielle (she/her) supports women who are overcoming struggles with anxiety, panic, disordered eating, life transitions, self-esteem, and relationship difficulties. Danielle uses modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Strength-Based Approaches, and Solution-Focused Therapy to collaborate with clients in identifying negative thought patterns, building on their inherent strengths, and creating practical strategies to achieve their goals.

FAQ's About Therapy for Transitions and Adjustments 

Why should I see a provider who specializes in women's mental health?

Our therapists can provide you with support in ways that generalized therapy may otherwise overlook, or at times even invalidate. Our approach to treatment recognizes the ways that relational, societal, environmental, and biological factors will have on how you feel about yourself and engage in your relationships. By recognizing that your anxiety may be greatly impacted by the way you have been perceived or treated within your body and relationships, an women's mental health specialist can help ensure that your needs are understood, acknowledged, and addressed in a way that feels authentic to you.

I'm exploring or questioning my identity—can I still benefit from seeing a therapist who specializes in women's mental health? 

Absolutely! All of our providers provide a safe, affirming space for you to explore your identity. You can also find out more about our LGBTQ+ affirming therapy services here.

How do I request an appointment ?

Complete a consultation request form and one of our therapists will reach out to you to schedule a free, 15-minute consultation call. During the call we'll talk about what you are hoping to achieve in therapy and review all anticipated costs/fees. This is also a time you can ask any questions about therapy and learn more about how your therapist can help you reach your goals. If both you and your therapist feel like moving forward is a good fit, you will schedule an initial intake session. 

What are your fees for therapy?

Self-pay rates for therapy are $200/initial 60 min. session, $160/55 min. ongoing sessions, and $225/extended 90. min sessions. In addition, all of our therapists are credentialed with Aetna, Cigna, and Blue Cross Blue Shield through Headway. You can find more information about fees and insurance here. 

Do you provide in person therapy sessions for women?

No. We provide therapy sessions via telehealth to women in Tempe, Phoenix, and throughout Arizona. All of our sessions are provided virtually through a HIPAA-compliant video portal. You can learn more about online therapy here.
