COMPASSIONATE, COLLABORATIVE ANXIETY THERAPY FOR WOMEN
Your journey to calm starts here.
At times it feels like no matter how hard you try, your mind never quite shuts off. You're tired of the racing thoughts, the constant worry, and the "what-ifs" that get in the way of enjoying your life. Even when things seem calm on the outside, inside, it can feel like you’re always preparing for something to go wrong.
At Embodied Empowerment, we provide anxiety therapy to women who are ready to take control over anxiety symptoms that are impacting their lives. Our experienced anxiety therapists take an individualized and holistic approach to anxiety treatment, drawing on a range of evidence-based modalities to help you meet your goals. Through techniques like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), and Mindfulness-Based Therapy, we will help you challenge negative thought patterns that fuel anxiety and learn to feel more grounded in the present moment.
ANXIETY THERAPY FOR WOMEN IN TEMPE, PHOENIX, AND THROUGHOUT ARIZONA
How We Can Help
Our experienced anxiety therapists are expertly trained to work collaboratively with our clients to address concerns including but not limited to:
Generalized Anxiety
Overwhelming fear or worry about everyday issues like work or relationships that doesn’t go away even when there isn’t a clear cause for concern. This kind of anxiety can lead to persistent feelings of being on-edge, difficulty concentrating, and fatigue.
"High Functioning" Anxiety
While life might look great on paper, you’re exhausted from the constant struggle of trying to do it all. Underneath the constant drive for achievement and success, you’re struggling with fears of failure, self-doubt, and unrealistically high expectations.
Panic Attacks
Sudden, intense experiences of fear or a sense of impending danger, often accompanied by physical symptoms like rapid heartbeat, shortness of breath, and dizziness. Panic attacks can feel out of your control and lead to avoidance of situations where another episode might occur.
Chronic or Excessive Worry
Anxious over-thinkers struggle to turn their minds “off,” constantly replaying scenarios in their minds, while fixating on potential outcomes and worst-case scenarios. This persistent rumination can lead to feelings of overwhelm, stress, and difficulty making decisions.
Political and Environmental Anxiety
Emotional distress, worry, or fear triggered by political events, climate change, or general societal instability. It can feel personal, like your identity, safety, or future is under threat, or more global, like the world is spinning out of control.
Food and Body Anxiety
Never ending concerns about food or your body make it hard to focus on the present moment. It's impossible to turn off the noise- whether you're focused on what you're eating, what you look like, or what sensations you're feeling in your body.
