Embodied Empowerment Counseling Services specializes in providing support to women who are seeking to address concerns related anxiety, shame, stress, and indecision that impacts their emotional and physical wellbeing. My clients are often working professionals, mothers, and students who find that anxiety, stress, and unrealistic expectations are getting in their way of their goals. They may be in the middle of a transition that is bringing to light areas of their life that are not in alignment and are seeking ways to promote balance. They may be wrestling with questions such as “who am I” and “what do I want out of my life”, or find themselves feeling stuck, inadequate, or unfulfilled.
As a clinician I provide culturally affirming and inclusive therapy that supports all bodies, relationships, and identities. I am sensitive to the complexities that impact sexual and reproductive experiences of the LGBTQIA+ community, single parents by choice, and those who are a part of diverse family structures or relationships.
The relationship between myself and my clients is one of the most important parts of the therapeutic process. If you’re curious about whether or not this practice is a good fit for you, please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions you might have.
